GOING GLOBAL: EASIER THAN EVER, HARDER THAN EVER

A key theme from the forum was the paradox of globalization today: expanding abroad has never been easier, yet turning that step into lasting success has never been harder. Access to international markets is open, but competition is intense and consumer trust is difficult to earn.

A NEW PLAYBOOK IS NEEDED

The consensus was clear: Chinese brands cannot rely on old strategies when going global. A new playbook is needed, one that reflects today’s realities of fast-changing consumer expectations, digital-first experiences and diverse cultural landscapes.
